The Dashboard is your home screen — a live snapshot of the business for the current financial year.
The stat cards
Across the top you'll see four key numbers, each with a mini trend line:
- Cash on hand — the balance across your bank/cash accounts.
- Owed to you — total outstanding customer invoices, with the overdue portion highlighted in red.
- Bills to pay — what you owe suppliers, with overdue highlighted.
- Net profit · YTD — your profit for the financial year to date.
The charts
- Revenue vs expenses — a month-by-month area chart. Toggle 6m / 12m / 24m and Line / Bar, and hover for exact figures.
- Expense breakdown — where your money goes, by category.
- Receivables aging — how much is current vs 30/60/90 days overdue.
Customise it
Click ⚙ Customise to show/hide cards and rearrange the dashboard to suit how you work.
The Review panel (🔔)
At the top you'll see "X things need your attention." Click it (or the 🔔 bell) to open Review — 360books proactively surfaces issues like overdue invoices, unreconciled bank transactions and upcoming SARS deadlines, each with a one-click way to act on it. Think of it as your daily to-do list for the books.
Get started card
On a brand-new company, the dashboard shows a Get started checklist with shortcuts to add your first customer, send an invoice, import a bank statement, invite your accountant, or ask the AI CFO.
